Conditions for storing fault codes
At P1307
The ECU stores a fault code and turns on the engine management system malfunction indicator lamp if the voltage of the acceleration sensor signal is below 1.5 V or above 3.5 V for two driving cycles.
The output of this code indicates that the sensor provides information about driving on an extremely rough or extremely smooth road.
With P1308, P1309
The ECU stores a fault code and turns on the engine management system malfunction indicator lamp if, in two driving cycles, the acceleration sensor shows an acceleration of 0.3 g or more at zero vehicle speed. The output of this code indicates that the acceleration sensor gives the ECU a push signal from the roughness of the road at zero vehicle speed.
