Location of locking button and direction of movement for adjusting the height of the upper belt mount
When adjusting the seat belt, set it high enough to ensure that the belt makes firm contact with your shoulder, but does NOT touch your neck.
To adjust the height of the belt anchor, press the seat belt height locking button and move the belt anchor down or up to the desired position that ensures the belt makes firm contact with your shoulder. To lock the belt anchor, release the locking button. After you release the locking button, try moving the seat belt anchor down or up to make sure that the anchor is securely locked in that position.
Warning! The seat belt fastening must be secured while the vehicle is moving.
Warning! Incorrect seat belt height adjustment may reduce the effectiveness of the seat belt in the event of an accident.
