The seat belt height of the front seat can be adjusted to one of 4 positions.
If the height of the seat belt attachment is too close to your neck, the belt will not provide you with maximum protection. The shoulder part of the belt should be adjusted so that it runs across the chest and in the middle of the shoulder, which is closer to the door, not the neck.
To adjust the seatbelt height, press the seatbelt height lock button and move the seatbelt anchor up or down to the desired position that ensures the seatbelt is firmly in contact with your shoulder. Release the lock button to secure the strap attachment. After releasing the lock button, try moving the seat belt anchors down or up to make sure the anchor is securely locked in position.
Warning:
- The seat belt anchor must be fixed while the vehicle is in motion.
- Incorrect seat belt height adjustment can reduce the effectiveness of the seat belt in the event of an accident (accidents).
