1. Before fastening the rear center seat belt, make sure that the metal bar (latch tongue) (A) stuck in a castle (b).
2. After you have made sure that the plank (latch tongue) (A) stuck in a castle (b) pull the seat belt out of the retractor and insert the belt bar (latch tongue) (c) to his castle (d) to the click.
When the plank (latch tongue) is fixed in the lock, a characteristic click is heard. The seat belt automatically selects the correct length only after you manually adjust the lap belt so that it fits snugly around your hips.
After putting on such a belt, it automatically follows the slow movements of your body, but in the event of a sudden or strong jerk, the belt automatically locks to hold the person wearing it. The belt will also lock if you pull it forward sharply.
Warning:
- When using the rear center seat belt, all metal strips must be inserted (latch tabs) to castles. If any of the locks are not fastened, then this will increase the likelihood of injury in the event of a traffic accident.
- Except in the following cases, releasing the metal bar (latch tongue) (A) in the castle (b) forbidden.
- (1) When the rear seat backrest is tilted down.
- (2) If transporting an object in the rear seat could damage the rear seat center seat belt.
- After returning the rear seat to the upright position, insert the bar immediately (latch tongue) (A) to the castle (b).
Releasing the seat belt
To unfasten the seat belt, grasp the bar (latch tongue) and press the button on the buckle.
Warning: The rear seat center seat belt fastening mechanism is different from the rear seat shoulder seat belt mechanisms. When fastening the rear seat shoulder belts or the rear seat center lap belt, make sure you use the correct buckle to get maximum protection from the seat belts.
