1. Before fastening the rear seat center seat belt, make sure that the metal bar (latch tongue) (a) is inserted into the buckle (b).
2. After you have made sure that the bar (latch tongue) (a) is inserted into the buckle (b), pull the seat belt out of the retractor mechanism and insert the belt bar (latch tongue) (c) into its buckle (d) until it clicks.
When the bar (the latch tongue) is fixed in the lock, a characteristic click is heard. The seat belt automatically selects the required length only after you manually adjust the lap belt so that it fits tightly around your hips.

Once you put on this belt, it automatically follows the slow movements of your body, but in the event of a sudden or strong jerk, the belt automatically locks to hold the person fastened with it. The belt will also lock if you pull it forward sharply.
Warning:
- When using the rear seat center seat belt, make sure all metal tabs (latch tongues) are inserted into the buckles. Failure to fasten any of the buckles increases the risk of injury in the event of an accident.
- Except in the following cases, unfastening the metal bar (latch tongue) (a) in the lock (b) is prohibited.
- (1) When the rear seat back is tilted downwards.
- (2) If transporting an object on the rear seat may damage the rear seat center belt.
- After returning the rear seat to the upright position, immediately insert the bar (latch tongue) (a) into the lock (b).
Unfastening the seat belt

To unfasten the seat belt, grasp the bar (latch tongue) and press the button on the belt buckle.
Warning: The rear seat center belt fastening mechanism is different from the rear seat shoulder belts. When fastening the rear seat shoulder belts or the rear seat center lap belt, make sure you use the correct buckle to get maximum protection from the seat belts.
