1. High pressure fuel pump
2. Fuel pressure regulator
3. Fuel inlet fitting (from the fuel filter)
4. Fuel return fitting (to the fuel tank)
5. Fuel outlet (to the fuel rail)
Withdrawal
1. Turn the ignition key to the OFF position and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
2. Disconnect the connector (A) fuel pressure regulator.
3. Remove the fuel line (A) high pressure connecting the high pressure fuel pump to the fuel rail.
4. Disconnect the quick connector (IN) fuel supply line and quick coupling (WITH) return fuel line.
5. Remove the drive belt.
6. Remove the service plug (A) front cover.
7. Remove the bolt (IN) high pressure fuel pump mountings.
8. Fix the crankshaft and unscrew the nut (WITH) high pressure fuel pump gears.
9. Install the stopper (A) high pressure fuel pump puller gear (No: 09331-1M100).
10. Install the support (IN) high pressure fuel pump puller pinion stopper (No: 09331-1M100).
11. Remove the high pressure fuel pump by turning the bolt (WITH) puller (No: 09331-1M100) clockwise.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
Note: When connecting the high pressure fuel line, tighten the connections to the specified torque using the special tool (09314-27110).
Torque:
- High pressure fuel pump bolt: 24.5 - 30.4 Nm.
- High pressure fuel line nut: 24.5 - 28.4 Nm.
- Service plug: 73.6- 88.3 Nm.
