1. High pressure fuel pump
2. Fuel pressure regulator
3. Fuel inlet fitting (from the fuel filter)

5. Fuel outlet nipple (to the fuel rail)
Removal
1. Turn the ignition key to the OFF position and disconnect the negative (-) cable from the battery.
2. Disconnect the fuel pressure regulator connector (A).

3. Remove the high pressure fuel line (A) connecting the high pressure fuel pump to the fuel rail.
4. Disconnect the quick-release coupling (B) of the fuel supply line and the quick-release coupling (C) of the fuel return line.

5. Remove the drive belt.
6. Remove the service plug (A) of the front cover.

7. Loosen the bolt (B) securing the high pressure fuel pump.

8. Fix the crankshaft and unscrew the nut (C) of the high pressure fuel pump gear.

9. Install the stopper (A) of the high pressure fuel pump puller gear (No.: 09331-1M100).

10. Install the support (B) of the high pressure fuel pump puller gear stopper (No.: 09331-1M100).
11. Remove the high pressure fuel pump by turning the bolt (C) of the puller (No.: 09331-1M100) clockwise.

Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Note: When connecting the high pressure fuel line, tighten the connections to the specified torque using a special tool (09314-27110).
Tightening torque:
- High pressure fuel pump mounting bolt: 24.5 - 30.4 Nm.
- High pressure fuel line fastening nut: 24.5 - 28.4 Nm.
- Service plug: 73.6- 88.3 Nm.
