1. Fuel rail
2. Fuel rail pressure sensor (RPS)
3. Fuel rail pressure regulator (RPRV)
Withdrawal
1. Turn the ignition key to the OFF position and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable,
2. Disconnect the connector (A) fuel rail pressure sensor.
3. Remove the fuel line (IN) high pressure connector connecting the fuel rail to the high pressure fuel pump.
4. Disconnect the connector (A) fuel rail pressure regulator.
5. Loosen bolt type «banjo» (IN), then disconnect the return hose (WITH) from the fuel rail.
6. Remove the intake manifold.
7. Remove the fuel line (A) high pressure connecting the injectors to the fuel rail.
8. Turn away fixing bolts (IN), then remove the fuel rail.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
Note:
When connecting the high pressure fuel line, tighten the connections to the specified torque using the special tool (09314-27110).
Torque:
- Fuel rail mounting bolt: 19.6 - 26.5 Nm.
- High pressure fuel line nut: 24.5 - 28.4 Nm.
- bolt type «banjo» for fixing the fuel rail: 17.7 - 27.5 Nm.
