Fuel pump for diesel engines (Hyundai Tucson LM)

Removal

1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2. Remove the rear seat cushion.

3. Remove the fuel pump service hatch (A).



4. Disconnect the fuel pump connector (A) and the quick-release coupling (B) of the fuel supply line.

5. Disconnect the quick-release coupling (C) of the fuel return line.



6. Remove the cover (B) using the special tool (A) (№: 09310-3S100) from the fuel pump, then remove the pump itself (C).

Installation

Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Note:

• Fuel pump cover mounting bolt: 58.9 - 68.7 Nm.
• When installing the fuel pump, pay attention to the groove.
