Removal
1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position and disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
2. Remove the rear seat cushion.
3. Remove the fuel pump service hatch (A).

4. Disconnect the fuel pump connector (A).
5. Disconnect the quick-release coupling (B) of the fuel supply line and the quick-release coupling (C) of the fuel return line.

6. Raise the car.
7. Remove the rear left wheel.
8. Remove the muffler assembly.
9. Remove the propeller shaft (4WD vehicles only).
10. Support the fuel tank with a jack.
11. Disconnect the filler neck hose (A).

12. Disconnect the quick-release connection (B) of the breather hose and the quick-release connection (C) of the ventilation hose.

13. Loosen the 4 mounting bolts and remove the clamp (A), then remove the fuel tank from the vehicle.

Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Note: Tightening torque: Fuel tank clamp mounting nuts: 39.2-54.0 Nm.
