Procedure
1. Measure the distance from the front surface of the pedal to the carpet. Clutch pedal installation height (A): 166.9 mm.
2. If the clutch pedal installation height is not the required value, adjust it as follows:
- a. Loosen the lock nut and adjust the clutch pedal free play by turning the bolt, then tighten the lock nut;
Caution: After adjustment, tighten the bolt until it reaches the pedal stop, then tighten the lock nut.
- b. Rotate the push rod until the desired pedal installation height is reached, then tighten the lock nut.
Caution: When adjusting the clutch pedal height or free play, be careful not to move the push rod toward the clutch master cylinder.
3. Press the clutch pedal by hand until you feel a noticeable resistance and measure the amount of free play.
Clutch pedal free play (B): 6–13 mm.
