Checking the operation of the selector lever (A4AF3) (Hyundai Elantra XD)

Procedure

1. Move the selector lever to all positions. Check that the position of the selector lever matches the selector lever indicator.

2. Start the engine and check that the vehicle starts moving when the lever is moved from position N to position D and moves backward when the lever is moved to position R.

3. If necessary, adjust the control cable and selector lever bushing.
