Procedure
1. Set the selector lever to the "N" position.
2. On the gearbox side, loosen the nut securing the control cable to the lever to release the cable and control lever.

3. Set the selector lever to neutral position.

4. Loosen the transmission range switch housing mounting bolts, then turn the transmission range switch housing so that the hole on the end of the control lever and the hole in the projection of the transmission range switch housing are aligned.
5. Tighten the transmission range switch housing mounting bolts to the specified torque. Be careful not to displace the switch housing when tightening the bolts.

6. Gently press the transmission control cable in the direction of the arrow, and then tighten the adjusting nut.
7. Check that the selector lever is in the "N" position.

8. Check the operation and functioning of the switch for each selector lever position.
