Procedure
Warning! If the belt is not tensioned properly, it will make abnormal noise during operation and will be subject to premature wear. If the belt is too tight, damage to the water pump or generator bearings may occur.
1. Loosen the generator mounting nut "A" and the tension adjustment bolt fixing bolt "B".
2. Turn the adjusting bolt to adjust the belt tension.
3. Tighten the tension adjustment bolt fixing bolt "B".
4. Tighten the generator mounting nuts "A".
5. Check the belt tension and readjust if necessary. Tightening torque Generator mounting nut "A": 20–25 N·m Tension adjustment bolt fixing bolt "B": 12–25 N·m.
