Attention: Due to the importance of the brake system to safety, it is recommended that it be checked and serviced by a Hyundai dealer. Checking and determining the degree of wear of the brakes should be carried out within the time specified in the service book.
Warning: Be careful when handling brake fluid. If it gets into the eyes, it may cause visual impairment. In addition, it spoils the paintwork of the body, if not immediately removed.
Used brake fluid
Use only DOT 3 or DOT 4 approved brake fluid in the brake system. Follow the instructions on the fluid bottle.
Checking the brake fluid level
The fluid level in the brake fluid reservoir should be checked periodically. Its level must be between the marks «MIN» And «MAX» on the wall of the tank. If the level falls below the mark «MIN», carefully add liquid to the mark «MAX», but not higher.
Bringing the level of brake fluid to normal
Warning: Be careful when handling brake fluid. If it gets into the eyes, it may cause visual impairment. Use only DOT 3 or DOT 4 brake fluid in a sealed container. To prevent dirt and moisture from entering the fluid and impairing the performance of the brake system, do not leave the brake fluid container open longer than necessary.
Before adding liquid to the tank, carefully remove dirt from it, then open the tank cap. Slowly pour the required brand of liquid into the reservoir, making sure that there is no overflow. Carefully install the tank cap and tighten it tightly.
