Checking the cooling system for leaks
1. Unscrew the radiator cap.
2. Check the coolant level, it should reach the filler neck.
3. Install a tester in the filler neck instead of the radiator cap and use it to create a pressure of about 150 kPa. Maintaining this pressure for 2 minutes, check the radiator, hoses or connections for coolant leaks.
Caution: The radiator fluid may be very hot. Do not open the cap until the fluid has cooled.
Recommended coolant composition
| Antifreeze | Amount of antifreeze in water |
| Ethylene glycol base for aluminum radiators | 50% |
