Removal
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the power wires from the fan motor and the housing mounting clips.
3. Disconnect the oil cooler hose from the fan shroud (for vehicles with automatic transmission).
4. Unscrew the 4 casing mounting bolts.
5. Remove the casing together with the fan.
6. Remove the fan mounting clip and separate the fan from the drive motor.
7. Remove the three screws and detach the fan.
Examination
1. Make sure the fan rotates when battery voltage is applied to the terminals.
2. Make sure that there is no abnormal noise when the electric fan rotates.
Installation
1. Installation of the electric fan is carried out in the reverse order.
