Removal
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the wire from the fan motor and the wire from the temperature sensor.
3. Unscrew the radiator drain plug and drain the fluid.
4. Disconnect the upper and lower hoses.
5. For vehicles with automatic transmission - disconnect the oil cooler hoses from the automatic transmission.
Warning: Plug the radiator hose and pipe to prevent dust, dirt, etc. from entering the radiator.
6. Unscrew the radiator mounting bolts.
7. Remove the radiator together with the fan.
8. Separate the fan and the fan assembly itself from the radiator.
Examination
1. Make sure there are no foreign objects between the radiator fins.
2. Check the radiator fins for damage.
3. Check the radiator for corrosion.
4. Check the radiator hoses for cracks, damage and wear.
5. Check the expansion tank for damage.
6. Check the oil cooler hoses for damage.
Installation
1. Fill the radiator and expansion tank with fresh fluid.
2. Start the engine, let the coolant warm up to the thermostat valve opening temperature and then turn off the engine.
3. Unscrew the radiator cap, add fluid until its level reaches the radiator filler neck. Fill the expansion tank.

4. Check that there are no coolant leaks from the radiator, hoses or connections.
