Power windows only work when «ON» («IGNITION») key in the ignition. The main power window switches, located on the armrest of the driver's door, raise or lower the windows of the front doors on the corresponding side of the vehicle. To lower the window, press the appropriate switch, and to raise the window, pull the switch up. To lower the driver's door glass, press the switch half way down. The glass moves as long as the switch is pressed. To automatically fully lower the driver's door glass, press the switch all the way down.
This will lower the window completely even if you release the switch. To stop the glass in the desired position, pull the switch and release it.
There is a switch on the armrest of the driver's door to lock the power windows on the front passenger door and rear doors. The power windows of these doors are locked by pressing the switch, and unlocked by pressing it again.
Note:
- The power windows of the doors become operational 30 seconds after the ignition key is turned to «ACC» («Optional equipment») or «LOCK» («blocking») or with the key removed from the lock.
- If one of the front doors is opened during these 30 seconds, the power windows will only operate when «ON» ignition key.
