Warning. Be careful not to burn yourself, as the oil is hot.
1. Start the engine and let it run until it reaches normal operating temperature.
2. Stop the engine.
3. Remove the oil filter cover (from the rocker cover) and the drain plug (from the oil pan). Drain the engine oil.
4. Reinstall and tighten the drain plug to the specified torque.
Tightening torque
Drain plug - 35-45 Nm
5. Fill the engine crankcase with fresh oil through the open oil filter cover.
Dry filling - 4.0 l
Drain and refill:
- Without filter - 3.4 l
- With filter - 3.7 l
6. Install the oil filter cover.
7. Start the engine and let it run.
8. Stop the engine and check the oil level. Add oil if necessary.
