
2. Apply a force of 100 N to the middle part of the belt between the pulleys as shown in the figure and measure its deflection.

Tension Tester Type A
1. During measurement, the scale section of the device should not contact with other parts.

2. Adjust the deflection or tension of the power steering oil pump drive belt.
3. Tighten the adjusting bolt.
4. Turn the crankshaft with the handle 1-2 turns.
5. Check the belt deflection and readjust if necessary.
Adjusting the air conditioning compressor belt tension
1. Loosen the adjusting bolt "A" on the tension pulley.

2. Adjust the belt deflection using the adjusting screw "B".
3. Tighten the lock bolt "A".
4. If necessary, repeat the adjustment and check the belt deflection again.
