Removal
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the lower panel from the driver's side.
3. Loosen the screw, disconnect the connector and remove the ignition switch (1).
4. Remove the steering column.
5. Loosen the screw, disconnect the connector and remove the ignition switch (2).
6. Turn the ignition key to the "ACC" position, use a screwdriver to press the locking pin and remove the ignition lock cylinder (3).
Installation
7. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Examination
8. Check the closed circuit between the connector contacts with the key in different positions in the ignition switch.
