Speedometer
1. Check tire pressure and correct if necessary.
2. Install the front wheels of the car on the running drums. Be sure to install wheel chocks under the rear wheels (A).
3. Check the speedometer readings and compare them with acceptable values.
Note: Do not increase/decrease engine speed or disengage the clutch suddenly.
Tachometer
4. Connect a tester to a diagnostic socket or establish a tachometer.
5 Start the engine and check the tachometer reading. Compare them with valid values.
Fuel gauge
6. Disconnect a socket from the gauge of the index of level of fuel.
7. Connect test lamp (3 W, 12 V) to pins 1 and 3 of the wired part of the connector.
8. Turn on the ignition and make sure that the lamp lights up and the pointer moves to the side «full tank».
Fuel level sensor
9. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between contacts 1 and 3 of the sensor (A) at the appropriate float positions. Also make sure that when moving the float out of position «E» V «F» resistance changed smoothly, without jumps.
1. Indicator light
Coolant temperature gauge
10. Disconnect the coolant temperature sensor connector in the engine compartment.
11. Turn on the ignition and check that the pointer shows «cold coolant». Switch off the ignition.
12. Connect test lamp (3 W, 12 V) to contact 2 the wired part of the connector and «mass».
13. Turn on the ignition and check that the lamp flashes and the pointer moves to the side «hot coolant».
