«LOCK» («blocking»).
«ACC» («Optional equipment»).
«ON» («On»).
«START» («Starter»).
Attention! Do not turn off the engine or remove the key from the ignition while the vehicle is moving. This will cause the steering wheel to lock and the vehicle to become uncontrollable.
«START» («Starter»)
In this position, the starter operates. It will crank the engine until the ignition key is released.
Note. Do not hold the ignition key in position «START» («Starter») more than 15 s.
«ON» («On»)
In this position, the engine is running and all electrical systems can be switched on. Do not leave the ignition key in the «ON» («On»), when the engine is not running. This will lead to the discharge of the battery and the failure of the ignition system.
«ACC» («Optional equipment»)
When the ignition key is in this position, some electrical systems can be turned on (radio, cigarette lighter, etc.).
«LOCK» («blocking»)
The ignition key can only be inserted or removed in this position. To protect against theft, when the key is removed from the ignition, the steering wheel is locked.
Note. To unlock the steering wheel, insert the key into the ignition lock and turn the steering wheel slightly while turning the ignition key.
Switching off the ignition
Turn the ignition key to position «ACC» («Optional equipment»).
Simultaneously press and turn the ignition key counterclockwise from the «ACC» («Optional equipment») into position «LOCK» («blocking»).
The ignition key can only be removed from the lock in the position «LOCK» («blocking»).
