If the engine does not start or stalls immediately after starting, turn the ignition key to the "LOCK" position for at least 15 seconds (up to 2–3 minutes depending on the outside temperature).
Turn the ignition key back to the "ON" position and try starting again.
After returning the ignition key from the "START" position to the "ON" position and turning off the starter, smoothly release the clutch pedal (make sure the gearshift lever is in the neutral position). Without touching the accelerator pedal, let the engine idle until the speed stabilizes.
Once the idle speed has been stabilized, begin driving as normal.
