Before starting the engine (Mitsubishi Matrix)

Inspect the vehicle for punctures, oil or water stains, or other visible signs of possible problems.

After entering the vehicle, make sure the parking brake is engaged.

Make sure all glass and headlights are clean.

Make sure all outside and inside rearview mirrors are clean and properly adjusted.

Check that the seat back and headrest are adjusted correctly.

Lock all doors.

Fasten your seat belt and make sure all passengers fasten their belts.

Turn off all lights and additional equipment that are not in use.

After turning the ignition key to the "ON" position, make sure that all necessary indicator lights are on and that there is sufficient fuel in the fuel tank.

Check that all indicator lights are working properly after turning the ignition key to the "ON" position.
