1. Inspect the vehicle for punctures, oil or water stains, or other visible signs of possible malfunctions.
2; After getting into the vehicle, make sure the parking brake is engaged.
3. Make sure all glass and headlights are clean.
4. Make sure all exterior and interior rearview mirrors are clean and properly adjusted.
5. Check that the backrest and headrest of your seat are adjusted correctly.
6. Lock all doors.
7. Fasten your seat belt and make sure all passengers fasten theirs.
8. Turn off all lighting and additional equipment that you are not using,
9. After turning the ignition key to the "ON" position, make sure that all necessary indicator lights are on and that there is sufficient fuel in the fuel tank.
10. Check that all indicator lights are working properly after turning the ignition key to the "ON" position.
Caution: (For diesel engine vehicles): To ensure good brake booster operation after starting the engine in cold weather, let the engine idle for a while.
