Speed test
1. Disconnect the windshield wiper motor connector.
2. Connect the "+" and "-" of the battery to contacts 6 and 5 of the connector, respectively. Make sure that the electric motor shaft rotates at low speed.
3. Connect the "+" and "-" of the battery to contacts 4 and 5 of the connector, respectively. Make sure that the electric motor shaft rotates at high speed.
Checking the return to the original position
4. Start the electric motor at low speed and stop it at any intermediate position.
5. Connect pins 3 and 6 of the connector with a suitable wire.
6. Connect the "+" and "-" of the battery to contacts 2 and 5 of the connector, respectively. Make sure that the electric motor returns to its original position.

7. Disconnect the windshield wiper motor connector.
8. Connect the "+" and "-" of the battery to contacts 2 and 1 of the connector, respectively. Make sure that the electric motor is working properly.
Checking the automatic shutdown
9. Turn on the windshield wiper and stop it in the intermediate position.
10. Connect contacts 2 and 3 of the electric motor connector with a suitable wire.
11. Connect the "+" and "-" of the battery to contacts 1 and 4 of the connector, respectively. Make sure that the electric motor returns to its original position.
