Fixed boom antenna
To receive signals in the AM and FM ranges, the car uses a removable antenna with a fixed rod. To remove the antenna, turn it counterclockwise, and to install it, turn it clockwise.

Retractable antenna
To receive AM and FM signals, the car uses a retractable antenna made of stainless steel. Pull out the antenna with your hands as shown in the figure.

Electric powered antenna
The antenna will automatically extend after the radio power is turned on with the ignition key in the "ON" or "ACC" position. The antenna will automatically retract when the radio power is turned off or the ignition key is turned to the "LOCK" position.

Warning: Before turning on the radio, make sure there is no one near the antenna.
Warning: Before washing your car in an automatic car wash or driving into a low-ceilinged area, make sure the antenna is folded.
Warning: If the antenna is dirty, clean it to avoid damage.
