Rear door — removal and installation (Hyundai Accent LC)

Removal

1. Release the window lifter handle mounting bracket and remove the handle. The bracket is released by inserting a clean cloth between the handle and the door trim and, pulling the cloth opposite the ends of the bracket, hook the bracket and release it. In doing so, pull the handle toward you so that after releasing the bracket, it comes off the splines of the window lifter shaft.



2. Remove the screw securing the inside handle, then push the handle towards the door hinges and remove it from the door trim.



3. Remove the screws securing the door trim.





4. Insert the door trim remover between the door trim and the door and release the clips.



5. Remove the door trim and lower the window.



6. Remove the screws securing the glass to the window regulator plate.



7. Remove the screws and bolt securing the rear glass guide.





8. Remove the fixed glass from the rear door.



9. Remove the sliding glass from the rear door.



10. Remove the outer weather strip from the rear door.



11. Remove the screws and the window regulator. Disconnect the rod from the inner door handle.





12. Remove the door latch and door lock modulator.



13. Remove the outer handle.

Installation

14. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
