Removal and installation

1. Release the window lifter handle mounting bracket and remove the handle. The bracket is released by inserting a clean cloth between the handle and the door trim and, pulling the cloth opposite the ends of the bracket, hook the bracket and release it. In doing so, pull the handle toward you so that after releasing the bracket, it comes off the splines of the window lifter shaft.

2. Remove the screw securing the inside handle, then push the handle towards the door hinges and remove it from the door trim.

3. Remove the inner cover and the outside rearview mirror.

4. Remove the screws securing the door trim.

5. Insert the door trim remover between the door trim and the door and release the clips. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

6. Remove the door trim and lower the window.

7. Remove the three screws and remove the speaker from the front door.

8. Remove the window glass.

9. Remove the outer moisture protection strip from the door.

10. Remove the screws and remove the window regulator.

11. Remove the door glass guide.

12. Remove the rod and lock actuator from the outside door handle.
13. Remove the door latch, modulator and outside door handle.

14. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Adjusting the door position
1. Check that the door closes easily and properly. If the door is loose, tighten the door hinge bolts.
2. If it is necessary to adjust the position of the door relative to adjacent surfaces, use special tool 09793–21000 to adjust the hinges.

Warning: Apply protective tape to the edges of the wing opposite the door hinge.
Door strike plate
1. Check that the door closes easily and properly. If the door lock is difficult to install on the strike plate, unscrew the strike plate mounting screws and, by moving it horizontally and vertically, achieve normal door closing.

2. Adjust the position of the door relative to adjacent surfaces by moving the strike plate in the vertical plane.
Door glass

If the door glass does not close evenly, adjust the glass installation angle from the front to the back.
