Warning! Remove the trunk lid with an assistant.
Removal
1. Remove the trunk lid hinge mounting bolts and remove the trunk lid.
2. Remove the torsion bar using wrench 09861–22000 as shown in the figure.
3. Remove the trunk lid latch and trunk lid lock.
4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Adjustment
1. Adjust the position of the striker plate by moving it downwards or to the right or left sides so that the rear of the trunk lid is level with the adjacent surfaces.
2. Adjust the trunk hinges by moving them downward or to the right or left sides so that the front of the trunk lid is level with the adjacent surfaces.
3. Turn the trunk lid stops one way or the other to adjust the trunk lid installation height.
