2. Lubricate the drive shaft and install the boots.
3. Apply recommended lubricant to inner ring (A) and body (IN). Install the case (IN) so that there is a shift relative to the ring, as shown in the figure.
Note: Use the grease from the repair kit.
4. Apply proper grade of grease to body and insert balls into body.
5. Position the part (A) with the selected groove, as shown in the figure. Install the inner ring on the drive shaft (IN), then install the retaining ring.
6. Apply the recommended lubricant to the outer race, then install the Bearfield outer race to the drive shaft.
7. Apply recommended grease to the joint boot «tripod», then install the boot with the clamp.
8. Tighten the hinge boot clamps «tripod».
9. Add the proper grade of grease to the Bearfield joint in the amount that was removed during the maintenance check.
10. Install the anthers.
11. Tighten the Birfield joint boot clamps.
12. To ensure the allowable air volume inside the hinge boot «tripod» maintain the specified distance between the boot clamps when tightening them.
