Checking the technical condition of the PBB module (Hyundai Tucson JM)

If any of the parts are found to be faulty during the technical inspection, replace the airbag module with a new one. Dispose of the old module in accordance with the specified procedure.



1. Check the module casing for dents, cracks or deformation.

2. Check the airbag module for dents, cracks or deformation.

3. Check the clamps and connectors for damage, the connector terminals for deformation, and the wires for pinching.

4. Check the gas generator body for dents, cracks or deformation.



5. Install the airbag module on the steering wheel and check that the module is correctly aligned with the socket and the fasteners.
