The contact disk, installed between the steering column and the steering wheel, consists of two conductive spiral springs. It ensures the rotation of the steering wheel and constant contact in the ignition circuit of the gas generator.

Ensure that the steering wheel is correctly installed on the steering shaft. The contact disk must be in the neutral position. Incorrect installation may cause the wire to come loose and other malfunctions.
