Removal
1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the air flow sensor.
2. Remove the air intake pipe connected to the air filter.
3. Remove the three bolts securing the air filter bracket.
4. Remove the air filter.
5. Remove the air flow sensor from the air duct.
Warning: Do not pull on the air flow sensor wires.
Examination
1. Check the air filter housing and cover for deformation, corrosion or damage.

2. Check the air duct for damage.
3. Check the air filter element for excessive dirt, damage or oil contamination. To clean the filter element, use compressed air, supplying it from the inside of the filter element. If necessary, replace the air filter element.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
