In the event of emergency towing where a tow truck is not available, attach a tow rope or chain to one of the towing hooks at the lower front of your vehicle. Do not attempt to tow your vehicle in this manner on unpaved roads. This can cause serious damage to your vehicle. Also, towing in this way should not be used in case of damage to the wheels, chassis, axles, steering parts or brake system. Before towing, make sure the transmission is in neutral and the ignition key is in the «ACC» («Optional equipment») (when the engine is not running) or in position «ON» («On») (when the engine is running). When towing, the driver must be in the vehicle to control it.
Attention: If the vehicle is towed with all wheels on the road, it must be towed at the front. When doing this, make sure that the gearbox is in neutral. Do not exceed the speed of 50 km / h and tow the car for a distance of more than 25 km. Make sure the steering wheel is unlocked before towing (ignition key in position «ACC» («Optional equipment»)). When towing, the driver must be in the vehicle to control it.
