Attention:
- Towing cars with automatic transmission is allowed at a speed of no more than 50 km/h for a distance of no more than 25 km. If it is necessary to tow over a distance of more than 25 km, it must be carried out using a tow truck using the full loading method.
- If it is necessary to tow over a distance of more than 25 km, it must be carried out using a tractor vehicle using the full loading method (type C). Towing is allowed by partial loading of the front of the car (type B) or the back of the car using (type A).
1. General precautions for towing with a cable.
- A) Use extreme caution when towing your vehicle. Avoid sudden starts and sudden maneuvers that could put excessive force on the towline or chain. The hinges, towline or chain can break and cause serious injury or damage.
- b) Secure the car when towing only with special hooks.
Note: Do not hook the rope onto the transport hook designed to secure the vehicle during submerged transport.
- V) When descending a long incline, the brakes may overheat and stop holding the vehicle. In this case, the vehicle must be transported using a tractor.
- G) Exercise caution when towing a stuck vehicle. Stay away from vehicles and tow lines.
2. When towing a vehicle with a cable, perform the following operations:
- A) Release the parking brake.
Note: When towing, the front and rear wheels of the vehicle must rotate normally.
- b) Place the shift lever in neutral (models with manual transmission) or the automatic transmission selector lever to position "N" (models with automatic transmission).
- V) Insert the key into the ignition switch and turn it to the "ACC" (engine not running) or "ON" (engine running) and turn the steering wheel slightly to unlock it.
Attention: if the ignition key is in the position "LOCK", the steering wheel will be locked when you try to turn.
- G) Turn on the alarm.
Note: If the engine is not running, then the brake and steering boosters will not work, so the forces on the controls will be much more than usual.
4. When transported by the method of full loading.
- A) Move the shift lever to first gear (manual transmission) or selector lever in position "R" (automatic transmission).
- b) Apply the parking brake.
