Fuel pump (Hyundai Elantra J2)

Removal

1. Remove the rear seat cushion.

2. After reducing the internal pressure in the fuel line, first start the engine and then disconnect the electrical connector of the fuel pump.

Note: Be sure to release the pressure before disconnecting the main line, otherwise fuel will spill out.

3. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.

4. Disconnect the high pressure hose and return hose.

5. Remove the pump assembly.

Installation

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
