Disassembly
Using the tool, remove the lock washer, bearing, 1st gear and bearing race.
Remove the synchronizer ring, synchronizer spring, 1st/2nd gear synchronizer sleeve and 1st/2nd gear synchronizer hub.
Remove the synchronizer ring, remove the 2nd gear gear and needle bearing.
Remove the remaining parts and the bearing.
Check the condition of the outer surface of the intermediate shaft where the needle bearing is installed (arrow).
Check the condition of the intermediate shaft splines.
After aligning the needle bearing with the shaft or bushing and gear, check that it rotates smoothly.
Check the needle bearing separator.
Assembly
Assembly is carried out in reverse order.

1, 11 - bearing;
2 - intermediate (secondary) shaft;
3 - needle bearing;
4 - 1st gear pinion;
5 - synchronizer ring;
6 - 1st and 2nd gear synchronizer sleeve;
7 - synchronizer hub;
8 - 2nd gear pinion;
9 - 3rd gear pinion;
10 - 4th gear pinion;
12 - 5th gear pinion.
