Checking the ball joints of the front suspension (Hyundai Accent X3)

1. Remove the ball joint assembly from the lower control arm.

2. Check the ball joints for rotation.

1) As shown in the figure, swing the ball joint rod in the groove 5 times. Using a torque gauge, measure the rotating torque.

• Vertical clearance - 0
• Starting torque during rotation - 2-10 Nm
• Rotating torque - 2-3.5 Nm
