Checking the trunk lid limit switch (Hyundai Accent MC)

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Remove the trunk lid trim and limit switch. Disconnect the connector from the rear wiring harness.



3. Check the circuit between the terminal and the housing under different switch states.

State	Resistance, Ohm
Pressed (OFF)	∞ (circuit open)
Free (ON)	0 (circuit closed)
