2. Press the brake pedal fully several times. If the pedal goes down the first time you press it, but gradually rises with each subsequent press, the booster is working properly. If the pedal height does not change, the booster is faulty.

3. With the engine off, press the brake pedal several times. Keep the pedal pressed and start the engine. If the pedal drops slightly, the booster is working properly. If the pedal position does not change, the booster is faulty.

4. With the engine running, press the brake pedal and turn off the engine. Keep the pedal depressed for 30 seconds. If the pedal height does not change, the booster is OK. If the pedal rises, the booster is faulty.
