Exhaust manifold

Removal and installation

1. Disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery.

Note: Tightening torque: 4.0-6.0 Nm.

2. Disconnect the oxygen sensor connector (A) and remove the front muffler (B).

Note: Tightening torque: 39.2 - 58.8 Nm.

3. Remove the heat shield (A).

Note: Tightening torque: 7.8 - 11.8 Nm.

4. Remove the exhaust manifold support, then remove the exhaust manifold (A).

Note: Tightening torque:

• Bolt M8 support: 18.6 - 27.5 Nm.
• Bolt M10 support: 51.9 - 57.9 Nm
• Manifold Nut: 49.0 - 53.9 Nm

5. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. A new manifold gasket must be used.
