Interior lighting (Hyundai Tucson LM)

Caution: Do not use the interior lighting for a long period of time when the engine is not running. This may cause the battery to discharge.

To turn the backlight on or off, press its lampshade (1).

the lamp (with the interior lamp) is on constantly.

- the lamp (with the interior lamp) turns on when any door (except the trunk lid) is opened, regardless of the position of the ignition key. If the doors (except the trunk lid) are unlocked with the key fob (or smart key), but not opened, the lamp (with the interior lamp) turns on for about 30 seconds.

Similarly, when a door (except the trunk lid) is closed, the lamp (with room lamp) gradually goes out after about 30 seconds. However, when the ignition key is turned to the ON position or all doors (except the trunk lid) are locked, the lamp goes out immediately. When a door (except the trunk lid) is opened with the ignition key in the ACC or LOCK position, the lamp (with room lamp) remains on for about 20 minutes. However, when a door (except the trunk lid) is opened with the ignition key in the ON position, the lamp (with room lamp) remains on continuously.



- the light will go out even if the door is open.

Note: When the lamp is turned on by pressing the lampshade (1), it will not turn off even if the switch is in the OFF position.

Attention.
  • Mirror illumination lamp (if available).
  • Always set the switch to the OFF position when the accessory mirror lamp is not in use. Closing the sun visor without turning off the lamp may cause battery drain or damage to the sun visor.
  • It is necessary to turn off the lamp before returning the sun visor to its original position.


Luggage compartment light (if equipped)

The luggage compartment lamp comes on when the luggage compartment door is opened.

Press this button to turn the lamp on or off.

Glove box light (if equipped)

The glove box light comes on when the glove box is opened. The parking lights or headlights must be on for it to work.
