Cigarette lighter (in the presence of)
The ignition key must be in the ACC or ON position for the cigarette lighter to work. To use it, you need to press it so that it fits into its socket all the way. After heating its element, the cigarette lighter will pop out of the socket to the position «readiness». Do not leave the cigarette lighter in the depressed position. Doing so may damage the heating element and create a fire hazard. If the cigarette lighter needs to be replaced, use only genuine Hyundai or approved replacement parts.
Attention.
- Do not hold down the cigarette lighter after it has warmed up as this may cause it to overheat.
- If the cigarette lighter does not come out of the socket within 30 seconds, remove it manually to avoid overheating.
Attention. Only a genuine Hyundai cigarette lighter can be inserted into the cigarette lighter socket. Using the accessory jack (e.g. electric shaver, handheld vacuum cleaner or coffee maker) may damage it or cause electrical system failure.
Ashtray (in the presence of)
To use the ashtray, open the lid. Remove the ashtray to empty it.
Attention.
- Do not use the vehicle's ashtrays to collect debris.
- If a lit cigarette or match is placed in an ashtray containing other combustible materials, it may cause a fire.
Beverage holder
Drink holders can hold glasses or small cans of drinks.
Attention.
- hot liquids.
- Do not place open cups of hot liquids in the beverage holder while the vehicle is in motion. Spilled hot liquid can cause burns. Such burns by the driver may result in loss of vehicle control.
- To reduce the risk of injury in the event of an unexpected stop or collision, do not place open or loose bottles, glasses, cans, etc. in the beverage holder while the vehicle is in motion.
Sunshield
Use the sun visor to block direct light from the windshield or side window. To use the sun visor, pull it down. To use the visor to block light from the side window, pull it down, remove it from the holder (1) and turn to the side (2). Adjust the position of the sun visor (3).
To use the mirror, pull the sun visor down and open the mirror cover (4). Click the switch to turn the lights on or off.

Attention.
- mirror lamp (in the presence of).
- Always set the switch to the OFF position (OFF), when the accessory mirror lamp is not in use. Closing the sun visor without turning off the lamp may drain the battery or damage the sun visor.
- Always use the sun visor lock when it is turned to the side.
Electric outlet
The electrical outlet is designed to power mobile phones or other devices that are connected to the vehicle's electrical system. These devices must draw no more than 10 A of current when the engine is running.
Attention.
- Electrical appliances should only be used while the engine is running; after use, they must be unplugged from the outlet. Using the outlet to power accessories for an extended period of time while the engine is not running may drain the battery.
- It is allowed to use only electrical appliances designed for a voltage of 12 V, consuming a current with a power of not more than 10 A.
- When using an electrical outlet, set the minimum operating mode of the air conditioning or heating system.
- Close the cover when the outlet is not in use.
- Some electronic devices can cause interference when plugged into the car's electrical outlet. They can cause increased noise during the operation of the audio system and abnormal operation of other electronic systems or devices that are used in the car.
Attention. Do not insert fingers or foreign objects (pins, etc.) socket and do not touch it with wet hands. You may receive an electric shock.
Clock with digital display (in the presence of)
Attention. Do not set the time while the vehicle is moving. You could lose control, resulting in serious injury or an accident.
After any disconnection of the battery or related fuses, the time must be reset. When the ignition key is in the ACC or ON position, the clock is operated using the buttons as follows.
Clock setting
With the audio system turned off
1. Press the SETUP button (Setting) and hold it until the clock on the display starts flashing.
2. Set the time by turning the knob (1), then click on it.
When the audio system is on
1. Press the SETUP button (Setting).
2. Select CLOCK mode (Watch) turning the handle (1), then click on it.
3. Set the time by turning the knob (1), then click on it.
Ports: for additional devices, USB and iPod (in the presence of)
If the vehicle is equipped with an auxiliary and/or USB port (universal serial bus) or iPod port, you can use the auxiliary port for connecting audio devices, the USB port for connecting USB devices, and the iPod port for connecting an iPod.
Note. When portable audio devices are connected to a power outlet, noise may occur during playback. In this case, use the power supply of the portable audio device.

Clips for floor mats (in the presence of)
When using the floor mat on the floor covering under the front seat, make sure it is secured with the car floor mat clips. This will prevent the mat from sliding forward.
Attention.
- To avoid eye injury, make sure that the floor mat is correctly positioned on the floor covering. If the mat slips forward and interferes with pedal movement while the vehicle is moving, it could cause an accident.
- Do not place an additional floor mat on top of a mat that has been secured with latches. The optional mat may slide forward and thus obstruct the movement of the pedals.
Luggage securing net (in the presence of)
To prevent items from moving around in the luggage compartment, the four attachment points of the luggage net can be used. If necessary, contact an authorized Hyundai dealer to purchase a luggage net.
Attention. To prevent damage to things or the vehicle, care must be taken when placing fragile or bulky items in the luggage compartment.
Attention. Take care of your eyes. Do not overstretch the mesh. Never get in the way of a possible rebound of the mesh elements when broken, take care of the face and other parts of the body. Do not use the mesh if it shows visible signs of wear or damage.
Protective screen for the luggage compartment (in the presence of)
Use the protective screen of the luggage compartment in order to hide foreign objects in it from foreign objects.
To use the luggage screen, pull the handle back and insert the edges into the slots.
If the luggage compartment shield is not in use, place it at the bottom of the luggage compartment (in the presence of).
Attention.
- Do not place any objects on the protective screen of the luggage compartment. Such objects could be thrown into the passenger compartment and possibly cause injury to occupants in an accident or braking.
- Never allow people to be in the luggage compartment while the vehicle is in motion. It is for luggage only.
- Maintain an even load distribution in the vehicle by placing loads as close to the front of the vehicle as possible.
Attention. Since there is a possibility of damage to the luggage compartment screen, do not place luggage on it.
