Creating a vacuum in the system (Hyundai Tucson LM)

0
1. If the system becomes depressurized, for example during installation or repair, it is necessary to pump out air using the R-134a refrigerant drain, recycling and refill system. (If the system has been open for several days, it is necessary to replace the receiver-dryer and pump out air for several hours).

2. Connect the R-134a refrigerant recovery, recycling and charging system (A) to the high (B) and low (C) pressure ports, in accordance with its manufacturer's instructions.

3. After about 10 minutes, check that the low pressure gauge shows a vacuum below 93.3 kPa. If a vacuum cannot be obtained, this indicates a leak in the system. Partially charge the system and test it for leaks.

4. Remove the low pressure valve from the low pressure service port.
