Checking the technical condition
1. Turn off the ignition.
2. Disconnect the evaporator temperature sensor.
3. Using a multi-meter, measure the resistance between terminals 1 and 2 of the evaporator temperature sensor.
Note: Specifications:
4. If the measured resistance value does not correspond to the technical specifications, replace the evaporator temperature sensor with a known good one and check for correct operation.
5. If the problem is corrected, replace the evaporator temperature sensor.
Replacement
1. Remove the console cover (A).
2. Remove the left side cover (A).
3. Remove the lower cover (A) of the instrument panel.
4. Disconnect the diagnostic connector (A).
5. Remove the reinforcement panel (A).
6. Remove the condensate pipe (A).
7. Remove the temperature sensor (A) from the evaporator by first turning it 90° counterclockwise.
8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
