1. Remove the retaining ring (B) from the splines of the drive shaft (A) on the final drive side.
2. Using pliers, remove the clamps from the tripod CV joint boot.

3. Remove the tripod (A) from the CV joint housing (B).
4. When disassembling the CV joint, apply alignment marks (D) to the tripod pin (A), to the housing (B) and to the shaft splines (C).
5. Using pliers, remove the retaining ring (A).
6. Using a special tool, remove the tripod (B) from the drive shaft (A).
7. Clean the tripod assembly.
8. Remove the boot (A).
9. Using pliers, remove the clamp (B) from the dynamic damper (A).
10. Fix the drive shaft (A) in a vice (B) as shown in the figure.
11. Disconnect the damper (A) from the shaft (B).
