Front axle 2.0 DSL manual transmission — assembly (Hyundai Tucson JM)

1. Wrap the drive shaft splines to prevent damage to the dust boots.

2. Apply lubricant to the drive shaft and install the boot.

3. Install the damper, adjust the length indicated in the figure. The length indicated in the figure: 515₀⁺² mm.



4. Apply special lubricant to the inner ring (A) and the collar (B). Install the collar as shown in the figure.





5. Apply lubricant to the race and install the balls.



6. Align the ball race as shown in the figure (A), then install the inner race onto the drive shaft (B). Install the retaining ring.



7. Place lubricant into the Birfield CV joint, then install it onto the drive shaft.

8. Apply lubricant to the dust boots. Install the dust boots and tighten the mounting clamps.
