Note. This operation does not require removal of the engine from the vehicle.
1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Remove the front right wheel.
3. Unscrew the two mounting bolts (IN) and remove the right engine cover (A).
4. Place a jack under the engine.
Note. Place wooden blocks between the jack and the crankcase.
5. Loosen the bolt (IN), three nuts (C and O) and remove the engine mount (A).
6. Loosen the bolt (IN) and remove bracket (A).
7. Slightly loosen the water pump pulley bolts.
8. Remove the alternator drive belt.
9. Remove the compressor drive belt.
10. Remove the power steering pump drive belt.
11. Unscrew 4 bolts and remove the water pump pulley.
12. Unscrew the 4 mounting bolts and remove the top cover of the drive belt.
13. Turn the crankshaft pulley until the groove on it matches the alignment mark «T» on the bottom cover of the drive belt.
14. Unscrew the fastening bolt (IN) and remove the crankshaft pulley (A).
15. Remove flange (A) crankshaft.
16. Remove 5 mounting bolts (IN) and remove the lower drive belt cover (A).
17. Remove tensioner (A) and drive belt (IN).
18. Remove the crankshaft gear (A).
19. Disconnect the high voltage wires from the spark plugs. Disconnect the throttle cable from the cylinder head cover. Disconnect crankcase ventilation and breather hoses. Loosen the 12 mounting bolts and remove the cylinder head cover.
20. Holding the camshaft hex with an adjustable wrench (A), wrench (IN) unscrew the mounting bolt and remove the camshaft drive gear.
