Note: This operation does not require removing the engine from the vehicle.
1. Remove the engine cover.
2. Remove the front right wheel.
3. Loosen the two mounting bolts (B) and remove the right engine cover (A).

4. Place the jack under the engine.

Note: Place wooden blocks between the jack and the engine crankcase.
5. Loosen the bolt (B), three nuts (C and O) and remove the engine support bracket (A).

6. Loosen the bolt (B) and remove the bracket (A).

7. Slightly loosen the water pump pulley bolts.

8. Remove the generator drive belt.
9. Remove the compressor drive belt.
10. Remove the power steering pump drive belt.
11. Unscrew 4 bolts and remove the water pump pulley.
12. Loosen the 4 mounting bolts and remove the upper drive belt cover.
13. Turn the crankshaft pulley until the recess on it aligns with the timing mark "T" on the lower drive belt cover.
14. Loosen the mounting bolt (B) and remove the crankshaft pulley (A).

15. Remove the crankshaft flange (A).

16. Loosen the 5 mounting bolts (B) and remove the lower drive belt cover (A).

17. Remove the tensioner (A) and drive belt (B).

18. Remove the crankshaft gear (A).

19. Disconnect the high-voltage wires from the spark plugs. Disconnect the throttle cable from the cylinder head cover. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation and breather hoses. Unscrew the 12 mounting bolts and remove the cylinder head cover.
20. Holding the hexagon on the camshaft with an adjustable wrench (A), use a spanner (B) to loosen the mounting bolt and remove the camshaft drive gear.
