The outside rear-view mirrors are adjusted from inside the passenger compartment using handles located in the lower front corner of the door glass.

Before driving, always make sure that the outside mirrors are in a position that provides rear visibility on both sides of the vehicle and immediately behind it. Care should be taken when using your mirrors to judge the distance to other vehicles behind you and to the side of you.

Caution: If the outside mirror adjustment mechanism freezes, do not attempt to remove it by pressing the adjustment handle or the mirror glass. To do this, spray on an approved de-icing agent (but not antifreeze for cooling systems) or park the car in a warm place where the ice will melt.

The position of the outside rearview mirrors is adjustable to provide the best rear view directly behind the vehicle, as well as to the left and right of it. The left and right mirrors are adjusted with one switch.

Adjusting the position of mirrors:

1. Before adjusting the position of each mirror, turn on its drive by setting the switch to the left or right position.

Attention:
  • Avoid pressing the switch for too long.
  • Do not remove ice from the mirror glass with a scraper, as this may cause irreversible damage. To do this, use a sponge, soft cloth or approved de-icing agent.

Warning: Properly judge the distance to any objects visible in the passenger side mirror. The glass of this mirror is convex, so visible objects appear further away than they actually are.

The heating of the outside rear-view mirrors is switched on simultaneously with the heating of the rear window. To turn on the heated outside mirrors, press the rear window heating switch. This will clear the mirror glass of ice or fog, improving rear visibility in bad weather. The heating is switched off by pressing the switch again. The heated outside rearview mirrors will automatically turn off after 15 minutes.

Folding the outside rearview mirrors

To fold the outside mirror, push it towards the rear of the vehicle.

To fold the outside mirror, push it towards the rear of the vehicle.

The outside mirrors fold in when parking the vehicle in a tight space.

Warning: Do not adjust or fold the outside rearview mirrors while the vehicle is moving. This could result in loss of vehicle control and an accident resulting in death, injury or property damage.
