With manual adjustment
The outside rear-view mirrors are adjusted from inside the passenger compartment using the handles located in the lower front corner of the door glass.
Always check that the exterior mirrors are in a position to provide rearward visibility to both sides of the vehicle and immediately behind it before driving. Care must be taken when using the mirrors to judge the distance to other vehicles behind you and to your side.
Caution: If the door mirror adjustment mechanism is frozen, do not try to remove it by pressing the adjustment knob or the mirror glass. To do this, spray a defrost agent approved for use (but not antifreeze for cooling systems) or park the car in a warm place where the ice will melt.
Electric
The position of the outside rear-view mirrors is adjustable to obtain the best rear view directly behind the vehicle, as well as to the left and right of it. The left and right mirrors are controlled by a single switch.
Mirror adjustment:
1. Before adjusting the position of each of the mirrors, turn on its drive by setting the switch to the left or right position.
2. Then adjust the position of the mirror by pressing the corresponding side of the switch as shown in the figure.
Attention:
- Do not press the switch too long.
- Do not remove ice from the mirror glass with a scraper, as this may permanently damage it. To do this, use a sponge, soft cloth or an approved defrost agent.
Warning: Correctly judge the distance to any object visible in the passenger side mirror. The glass of this mirror is convex, so visible objects appear more distant than they really are.
Heated exterior mirrors
The heated exterior mirrors are switched on at the same time as the heated rear window. To turn on the heated exterior mirrors, press the heated rear window switch. This will clear the mirror glass of ice or fog, improving rear visibility in bad weather. The heating is turned off by pressing the switch again. The heated exterior mirrors will automatically turn off after 15 minutes.
Folding door mirrors
To fold the outside mirror, push it towards the rear of the vehicle.
The exterior mirrors fold in when parking the car in a confined space.
Warning: Do not adjust or fold the outside rear-view mirrors while the vehicle is in motion. This could result in loss of vehicle control and could result in an accident resulting in death, injury or property damage.
